PRIVACY POLICY

1. Scope
This Policy explains how OTD: Syndicates handles information across its website, Discord application, dashboard, APIs, Global Network, realms, support and premium services.
2. Information we collect
We collect Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatars, guild and channel IDs, roles used for authorization, realm and syndicate membership, gameplay actions, balances, inventory, operations, territory, market activity, preferences, entitlements, moderation events and support communications.
3. Global Network content
Messages sent in a configured Global Network channel may be stored and relayed to other participating communities. Relayed data can include message content, attachments, reply context, display name, avatar, source community and timestamps. Mass mentions are suppressed and community moderators can block relay access.
4. Technical and security data
We may process IP address, user agent, request timestamps, error logs, rate-limit events, authentication events and security signals to operate, troubleshoot and protect OTD. The Discord bot does not independently reveal a member's IP address.
5. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; create profiles; resolve game actions; operate realms, markets and seasons; relay authorized messages; generate statistics; provide premium features; prevent fraud and abuse; deliver support; maintain security; and improve performance.
6. Legal bases
Depending on location, processing may rely on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations. The final operator must document jurisdiction-specific legal bases before launch.
7. Payments
A third-party payment processor will handle card and billing details. OTD should retain provider customer, subscription, product and transaction identifiers, entitlement status and limited purchase metadata—not full card numbers or security codes. Provider details will be added when selected.
9. Retention
Account, transaction, entitlement, audit and anti-fraud records are retained as necessary for service integrity and legal duties. Message, security-log and deleted-account retention periods must be finalized and published before launch. Data is deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to backups and lawful exceptions.
10. Security
OTD uses encrypted transport, access controls, secret management, database transactions, rate limits, audit logs and least-privilege service design. No system is perfectly secure. Vulnerabilities should be reported privately to support@onlythedemons.com.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection. You may leave participating communities, ask administrators to disable a relay and cancel premium renewal. Some records may be retained for fraud prevention, disputes, safety or legal compliance.
12. Children
OTD is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information. Higher regional age thresholds apply where required. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.
13. International processing
Providers and servers may process information outside your region. The final operator must adopt legally required transfer mechanisms and disclose primary hosting regions before launch.
14. Changes to this Policy
Material changes will be posted with a revised date and, where appropriate, announced through the website, dashboard or Discord application. Continued use after the effective date is governed by the updated Policy.
